The aim of the Coded Plate & Intermediate Pipe Welding programme is to provide the learner with the skills and related knowledge in Carbon Steel Plate, Stainless Steel Welding at a variety of positions and to the standards required at industry level.ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have successfully completed a Basic Welding Course to EN 287 standard. Ideally learners will have successfully completed the three basic evening courses on MMA, MIG and TIG welding to the EN Standard. Applicants to the course will be required to undergo an aptitude test which consists of a 3 run fillet using MMA. Previous welding experience is essential, see Learner Education. Learners should have a good command of the English language.
