HGV RIGID TRUCK C AND ARTIC TRUCK CE LICENCE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH IRISH SCHOOL OF MOTORING
OVERVIEW
This programme is designed to provide the learner with the skills to drive a HGV Rigid Truck C licence standard and an Artic Truck CE licence in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts and obtain employment as a professional truck driver in the transport industry.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Education: A good command of the English language is required in order to successfully complete the course, including the assessments. Applicants must be in possession of a learner permit for Class 'C' Driving Licence. The learner theory test must have been completed and the permit obtained.
Aptitude: Learners must have the following, as a minimum:
- Good spatial aptitude.
- Good hand/eye co-ordination.
- Good manual dexterity skills.

FURTHER DETAILS
A current provisional Class C Driving Licence learner permit is required for entry to HGV Rigid. Upon completion of the C licence, a learner permit for CE Artic Truck can be obtained.
